doing: Prepping for our vacation- Christmastime in London! It's the first vacation (beyond an overnight) that my husband & I have taken on our own, since we've had kids. And I've always wanted to go back to London during the holidays (I lived there as a kid). So we'll be going for a few days right before Christmas. Now that the time is creeping closer I'm finally allowing myself to get excited & thinking about packing!
enjoying: Beyond just enjoying all things Christmas I've been loving getting cozy & going to bed to read a book in the evenings. So many nights it's tempting to just zone out in front of the TV but it's been nice to take 30 minutes or even an hour to settle in with a good book instead. I'm just starting Victoria.
cooking: Healthy dinners to counteract all the indulgences. Our go-to cookbooks for healthy & simple recipes has been this Skinnytaste one, along with her slow cooker cookbook. All the nutritional info is in there, which is a major plus for this Weight Watchers follower!
wrapping: Everything? I love having presents under the tree (I worked at Papyrus for a time, learning how to "properly" wrap!). I'm a sucker for some nice holding wrapping paper & love the selection at the Paper Source.
playing: Christmas music but from my "Jazz Holidays" Pandora station. It's a little less annoying to listen to for long stretches of time (honestly, sometimes you need a "Jingle Bells" break) but still puts you into a festive mood. Plus a lot of it is instrumental so it doesn't distract me at work!
